Moroccan Chicken and Broccoli Skillet

Method

1. 1

Season the chicken slices with salt, pepper and half the cumin, paprika and ginger.

2. 2

Blanch the broccoli florets in boiling salted water 2 minutes, then drain.

💡 A quick blanch keeps the broccoli bright and lets it finish in the skillet without turning gray.

3. 3

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat and sear the chicken in batches until golden and cooked through, about 5 minutes total.

4. 4

Push the chicken to one side, add the garlic and remaining spices to the cleared space, and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.

5. 5

Add the broccoli and toss everything together until well coated and heated through, about 2 minutes.

6. 6

Squeeze the lemon over and season to taste.

7. 7

   Scatter with cilantro and serve.
